I realise I have not updated
the site in quite a while, there are a number of reasons for this.
Firstly work has been massively busy, which will only worsen as
christmas draws nearer. Secondly I have been in something of a spat with
Alliance and Leicester for the past month or so. There should be a
dispute page up for this later tonight, although I cannot guarantee I
will have it completely up to date tonight.
There has been a fair bit happening in the news recently, though I feel one of the most exciting events is the release of Google's Mobile software.
We are now less than a month from the second birthday of Benscomputer.no-ip.org. During this time there have been more than 2430 files posted, many may of course be images but given the size of the files on the server many will be webpages. I've noticed that one of the archive pages is missing, so I will be finding a backup of this as soon as possible. There have been a great many changes in the (almost) two years that we have been running, with projects being posted, articles being written and consumer action being published. There have also been a great many changes behind the scenes, with different system management models being tested, some have remained and some have been allowed to drift into obscurity. Once I have repaired the archive page I will be interested to see just how many articles have been posted, although the blog is archived slightly differently.

UPDATE: The Archive pages have now been repaired, final page count is 440. This figure does not include media files, images or anything that cannot be accessed from a link on Benscomputer.no-ip.org. Pretty good going I think!
