There have been some changes made on Benscomputer.no-ip.org today. Most readers probably wont have noticed them as they don't really impact on ordinary browsing. However, it is now possible to view Benscomputer.no-ip.org over a SSL connection. And if you use a Phorm infected ISP I would strongly encourage you to do so. There are, however, two caveats; Both these issues are being worked on, but the most recent articles contain links that won't set your connection to HTTP. The main page issue will be resolved once the RSS Feed Generator has been amended to reflect the changes. Once everything else is put into place, we will get a certificate signed by a recognised CA, in the meantime please accept the certificate (assuming you trust us!) The SSL has been implemented as a reaction to the continued deployment of Phorm, and it is possible that in the future only SSL connections will be permitted. That, of course, will depend on how things pan out, and a calculation of the server overhead will be involved! |
