Apologies for disturbing you, but I couldn't find an email address for readers letters, if you'd pass this onto whoever is responsible for them I would be much obliged.

In response to the readers letter in issue 404 on parking tickets, I stumbled across the same issue myself, the traffic warden (I caught him in the act) told me I should write my Reg number on the Pay n display ticket so that it would only be valid for my vehicle. Problem is I didn't know that and most other people probably don't so when someone else pinches it anyway you will still get a ticket!

On the subject of parking I am currently on my local councils heels about parking permits, we live in a permit zone (no facilities to store offroad sadly) and the council want us to pay £90 to park two bikes in less space than a car with a single £30 permit absorbs. Has anybody else had an issue with this? Did you resolve it? I'm currently waiting on a letter to tell me the results of a meeting with their operations department, but I'm not hopeful
