Man arrested in Connection with Recent Murders

The Police have arrested a 37 Year old man on suspicion of Murder. I hope that they have got the right guy, though the police seem pretty convinced as Legal proceedings are already underway. The police have very sensibly decided not to announce which Police station the suspect is being held at, as he was arrested in Trimley I believe it will either be Woodbridge or Felixstowe Police station. However despite the Polices efforts to protect the identity of this man, should he turn out to be guilty I believe he is in for a very rough ride. I suspect a life sentence will be passed down on him, but that this sentence may never be fully carried out, a lot of tempers in Ipswich are frayed over recent events and I do expect that at some point along the line, the guilty party (and it may not be this man) will be lynched. Whilst I cannot advocate behaviour outside the law I do believe that it is more than this sick fuck deserves. If he should be lucky enough to survive long enough to make it to prison, I very much doubt he will receive a warm welcome. Some of the convicts in our prisons will have daughters the same age as some of the prostitutes, in fact some amy even have daughters that are prostitutes. This man will be made to severely regret what he has done, and I believe his actions will probably cost him his life.

For anyone in Ipswich reading this I would like to point out that although an arrest has been made, the streets are not necessarily any safer, this may not be the killer that has been arrested and you should continue to exercise caution when going out. Do Not go out alone!

I believe in a matter of days the identity of this man will be discovered, however anyone thinking of taking teh alw into their own hands should be aware that until a court of law convicts him he is not the killer. Maintain paitence and wait for him to be convicted, this could well be an innocent man, though as I mentioned the vibe from the police suggests otherwise.

It is without a doubt time that this sad saga came to an end, Ipswich has always been a releatively peaceful town, recent events are not te usual in Ipswich. We have also had (as some are aware) a shooting and a stabbing in Ipswich at about the same time theese murders came to light. The shooting and the stabbing have been traced to some people who visited our town from London.

My heart goes out to the families of the 5 murdered girls, I hope for their sake that they can at least find some closure before the end of this year. It will be a very sad christmas for those that have lsot loved ones, and I hope they can find some solace in the fact that the culprit may well have been caught.

I have heard some wild ideas on how to punish the culprit since this whole saga began, however whilst I think that many of them are deserved, the law will deal with him how it sees fit. I do not expect that a judge will lever any leniancy on the culprit once convicted.

Let us hope that the new year will be a nicer one.

UPDATE: The BBC page has changed since I last viewed it, the man is now identified as a Mr Tom Stephens. Apparantly he did an interview with the Sunday Mirror saying that he had slept with the 4 girls but didn't have any alibi. The interview may be the cires for help of an innocent man, or they could be the next step for a killer who believes himself devious enough to outsmart the police.
