Tiscali - The Final Chapter
The letter I received yesterday signals the final chapter of my Tiscali dispute.(or at least I hope it does). I received a letter from Tiscali (with a cheque for £130.00 attached). I cannot help but see the humour in the closing line of their letter however, it does leave the impression that this is a template used whenever they have to pay someone compensation. I imagine it is used quite regularly.
Dear Mr Tasker,
As requested, please find enclosed cheque for the amount of £**130-00*

I will be enjoying the fact that I am no longer with Tiscali very much! All the revelant correspondence is now filed down into an envelope, I don't trust Tiscali enough to throw any of it away, so I will be holding onto it until Tiscali goes bust (or I die)
I doubt they would be stupid enough to forget that the charge has been written off, but it is more than possible.
