» Young drivers and accelerators

driving up to work today i had the unpleasant experience of being undertaken by a car going flatout. He had been tailgating me for a good couple of miles so my speed had gradually dropped away. When the opportunity came he moved into the left hand lane and went flat out towards the car in front before shooting out in front of me. To add insult to injury he then wound his window down and gave me a two finger salute!
he seemed to be under the impression that he owned the road. Were my temperament (or indeed my mood) different i could have done a number of things. I could have dropped a cog and shot ahead leaving him no chance to come back across, but it would have caused a major accident. Im sure some drivers would have done it all the same. Equally i could have followed him down the next turning and had a word, meaning i would probably get done for road rage. Instead i sit knowing he will kill himself someday soon and just hope that he doesnt take anyone with him.   No comments | ¶

its been a long hard day, im currently sat in a bar testing the mobile blogging feature on my phone. If you are reading this then it works quite well!

today has really put my patience to the test, the company 'forgot' to pay our bonuses, and delivery was mainly crap we don't need. Its all par for the course i suppose but its starting to wear thin.

Have you ever noticed how as the weather gets hotter people get ruder? Guess thats the way it goes though.

Had a girl in the shop today wearing a very uplifting top, she commented to her mate that it was because everyone was saying how small her tits were yesterday. She then went on to complain how many 'pervs' there were in town today. Whilst I am not saying women should be sex objects, if you accentuate your chest then men are going to look. It is a fact of life, you cannot put them on display and then complain when people look. The fact of the matter is when they are that in your face you cannot help but glance.

Ive gotten used to not looking, so i doubt it was me she was talking about, but whilst her choice of clothing doesnt mean she is "gagging for it", i do think that if she was worried about wandering eyes she could have dressed a little more appropriately.

Well once again its a beautiful sunny day, but muggins here has to work.
apologies for the lack of quality content posted to the site recently, i have been a bit busy playing around with blogs
i have set up the relevant categories within the blog now so relevant articles will be posted here. A link will of course be put on the frontpage as well.

Despite my runins with our smoker, and despite me finding myself engulfed in his smoke, i havent had a single cigarette in 14 days!!! Anyway best get ready to head to work.   No comments | ¶

» A word on life and smokers Well our friendly neighbourhood smoker ventured onto the shop floor again, after a brief discussion about how I had warned him before and had not intention of warning him a third time, he decided to blow his smoke in my direction, very deliberately. Now I have always stood up for smokers rights, I do believe that the law due to touch down later this year is far too broad and discriminated against smokers.

» mmmmmmmmmmm Well I managed to get that piece of metal out of my exhaust yesterday. The change in sound was dramatic to say the least, the tones from that exhaust were enough to make my knees quiver!

Of course it is far from legal to have an exhaust that loud, no matter how sexy the sound, so I rode out to the bike shop today and picked up the baffle insert that I needed. It doesn't sound quite so good now that I have fitted it, but still sounds better than when it had that disc of metal in there.   No comments | ¶
