The media industry rules all...
02 05 07 - 18:28As some are aware (I have posted a link on the front page) the media industry have sent a cease and desist letter to a number of websites and blogs, the most visual of which being digg.
The letters are related to a certain hex key, and allow people to rip HD-DVD's.
digg has already made the decision to not censor the news stories any more. The founder has announced that digg will go down fighting rather than bend to the will of the MPAA.
Personally i do not think the media industry will accept the simple fact that once again they have lost. The customer base does not want DRM.
Defective by Design have also launched an open letter to the head of Warner Music, go and sign it here.
