Well Trivium is today, but first we have some bikes to clean. The weather does look a bit questionable but I am more interested in getting some of the accumulated road crap off the bike than anything else.

A Mixed Response to today really

Today has been one of those days that has neither been bad or good,in actual fact it was going rather well until a regular chose to complain to me that there was no price displayed for the product she was buying. I would have had more sympathy for the situation had it not been for the fact that she buys that product several times a week and knows the price all to well!!

Other than that quite a good day, weather has been nice and I managed to get a little bit of work done on the bike before I started work.

Off to see Trivium tomorrow which means that Benscomputer.no-ip.org - Music should get updated fairly soon.

Got a letter today confirming the name of my adjudicator in the CISAS case against Tiscali, this name will of course not be published at any point.

CISAS Reply to my Email

CISAS have replied to the email I sent them Re: Tiscali banking that cheque.They have requested Tiscali's comments on the matter and will copy the reply to me as soon as it is received. It has to be said it's nice to be abcked up by someone who can get some answers, otherwise Tiscali would probably be trying to give me the run-around for the next 6 months.

Benscomputer.no-ip.org - Music is online!!!currently it is hosted on a geocities server, this is partially to help my bandwidth usage and also to give me time to set up the necessary infrastructure on my server.

Benscomputer.no-ip.org - Music Will bring you reviews of the latest in the Rock Music scene. Any gigs I go to will have photos and a review posted there, if a new album that I like comes out then a review will be posted on Benscomputer.no-ip.org - Music.

Tiscali do it again

All in all I was having quite a good day,then I figured I had better have a quick peruse over my Bank statement to check that all is in order. All is not in order! as you can see here Tiscali have gone and fucked up my day again!.

If you don't have time to read the page, basically they banked the cheque that I thought they had shredded!!!

So i have ahd to email CISAS and Tiscali, Tiscali i emailed as a copy of the CISAS email.

Up until that point I was having a good day, I got loads done at work and was generally just feeling a good vibe (it's all the sleep I am sure of it) but then I saw that a cheque for �14.86 had gone out of my account. Now I don't write very many cheques (2 in the last 3 months or so) and have only ever written one cheque for �14.86, guess who received that??? Tiscali may well have just fucked up their own CISAS defence, how many adjudicators will think kindly of a company who tells the customer they are writing off the charges (charges they never accrued) and then banks the cheque anyway? Personally I think it is beyond unbelievable.

I always knew Tiscali were scum suckers, but I never knew they were quite that low (don't know why i am surprised though).

If only I had known what I know about Tiscali now about 3 years ago, I would never have gone with them. Still what can you do???? It's an unfortunate fact that you cannot change the past, this leaves me in the unfortunate position of having to deal with Tiscali's ill advised shenanigans.

Tiscali Pulls another 180

Tiscali has turned tail again,you may remember When Tiscali decided to write off the charges well just prior to that I had sent Tiscali a cheque. Will I never learn???? I should have stopped the cheque and forked out the �20 charge to do it, instead I left it, and figured Tiscali would already have destroyed the cheque. How wrong was I???? On the 10th of April 2007 Tiscali obviously decided to withdraw it's offer to write off the charges (charges that I never accrued) and instead bank the cheque that I had believed to be in the waste tray of a paper shredder.

Needless to day that when I checked my bank statements today I was not overjoyed to learn this news, so I sent an email to CISAS and Carbon Copied it to Corrine of at Tiscali high level complaints.

I would imagine that Corrine had nothing to do with the banking of my cheque, but as she has obviously been assigned to deal with my case, it seemed appropriate to let her know exactly what I was telling CISAS.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I write to you today in regard to Case Number ******* Tasker v Tiscali UK Limited. As the Adjudicator will see by looking at the materials I have submitted, I sent to Tiscali a cheque for fourteen pounds and Eighty Six Pence. Tiscali then wrote back and told me that they had written off the charge, (also included in my submitted materials). Despite this I have discovered when checking my bank statement today that Tiscali UK Limited cashed that cheque on 10/04/2007 nonetheless. If at all possible I would like to add to my request via CISAS that I receive a refund of this amount.
Please note I have cc'd this email to Corrine Rawlings of Tiscali's High Level Complaints in order that they may remain up to date with current developments.

I know that once comments have been despatched it is not possible for either party to submit new information or evidence, but as the comments are not likely to have been received yet it should hopefully be possible to make the appropiate adjustments. CISAS may of course inform me that I need to file another complaint with Tiscali (and then no doubt ultimately CISAS) to regain my funds. However I believe that the very fact that Tiscali have been so sneaky as to bank the cheque after writing of the charges will speak volumes to the adjudicator about Tiscali UK LTD. Similarly Corrine over at Tiscali is likely to realize that someone somewhere has made a gigantic cock up.

I don't really know why I was even surprised that the cheque had been banked.

It would have cost me �20 to cancel the cheque, but at least I would have known the money would never fall into Tiscali's hands.
